Prereq: BIOS 330 & JR OR SR & NOT 472. Evolutionary origin, taxonomy and classification, anatomy physiology, ecology, behavior and genetics of reptiles (turtles, crocodylians, tuataras, lizards, and snakes). Field techniques of safe capture and monitoring for population presence and abundance. Identification of Ohio species and North American genera and families. 2 lec, 3 lab and field trips. May be retaken one time excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
