Prerequisite: Arts 18A. Advisory: English Writing 200 and Reading 200 (or Language Arts 200), or English as a Second Language 261, 262 and 263. Six hours lecture-laboratory. (May be taken two times for credit. Students build upon previous experience and develop higher-level skills.) Design, construction and utilization of kilns, including raku, high fire, gas and electric. Practical experience in firing technique.
