Advisory: Automotive Technology 60; English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273; Mathematics 212 or equivalent. Four and one-half hours lecture per week. Fifty-four hours lecture per quarter. Theory of operation for electrical, electronic, and electromechanical accessory systems. Understanding and using wiring diagrams, schematics, and other diagnostic information to troubleshoot electrical, electronic, and electromechanical systems. Preparation for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) examination in areas A6, A8, and L1.
