(Formerly Arts 14.) Advisory: English Writing 200 and Reading 200 (or Language Arts 200), or English as a Second Language 261, 262 and 263; Arts 4A or Arts 8. Six hours lecture-laboratory. (Any combination of Arts 14A, 14B and 14C may be taken up to six times, not to exceed 18 units, for the family of courses as long as the topics/projects are different each time.) A comprehensive introduction to transparent watercolor painting with emphasis on basic techniques.
