Advisory: Automotive Technology 50A, 50B, 60, 60C, and 60D; English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273; Mathematics 212 or equivalent. Four and one-half hours lecture per week. Fifty-four hours lecture per quarter. Theory of operation and service of electronic fuel injection systems. Component parts and their functions and overall system theory. Diagnostic and repair methods using standard test and repair equipment. Preparation for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) examination in areas A8, and L1.
