Prerequisite: Arts 18A. Advisory: English Writing 200 and Reading 200 (or Language Arts 200), or English as a Second Language 261, 262 and 263. Six hours lecture-laboratory. (May be taken two times for credit. Students build upon previous experience and develop higher-level skills.) Historical development, firing techniques, glaze, kilns and clay-bodies, for the Raku ceramic process.
