Prerequisite: Arts 4A, 8, or 12. Advisory: English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273. Six hours lecture-laboratory. (Any combination of Arts 15A, 15B, and 15C may be taken up to six times, not to exceed 18 units, for the family of courses.) An introductory course in acrylic painting with emphasis on basic techniques in both traditional and contemporary techniques that relate to the unusual characteristics of the medium. (CAN ART 10)
