Advisory: Automotive Technology 50A and 50B; English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273; Mathematics 212 or equivalent. Four and one-half hours lecture per week. Fifty four hours lecture per quarter. Diagnostic and repair techniques for automatic transmissions and transaxles. Emphasis on development of diagnostic procedures and repair techniques. Preparation for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) certification examination A2 and A3.
