Advisory: Automotive Technology 50A, 50B, 60, 60A, 60B, 60C, 60D, and 60E; English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273; Mathematics 212 or equivalent. Four and one-half hours lecture per week. Fifty-four hours lecture per quarter. Advanced drivability diagnosis using a scan tool. Using the onboard diagnostic capabilities of vehicles built since 1980. Advanced scan data analysis. Using PC capabilities to store and analyze diagnostic information. Preparation for Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) examination in areas A6, A8, and L1.
