(Not open to students with credit in Biology 6A, 6B, or 6C; or 40A, 40B, or 40C; or equivalent.) Advisory: English Writing 200 and Reading 200 (or Language Arts 200), or English as a Second Language 261, 262 and 263. One hour lecture, one and one-half hours laboratory, one additional hour to be arranged in the Science Center Resource Center. Survey of human anatomy and physiology with emphasis on homeostatic limits of the human body. The skeletal, muscular and nervous systems including somatic and special senses. (Especially designed for students planning careers in medical assisting, Licensed Vocational Nursing, education, speech, home economics, psychology, physical education and/or recreation.)
