Advisory: English Writing 1A or English as a Second Language 5. Four hours lecture, six hours laboratory, one additional hour to be arranged in the Science Center Resource Center. Introduction to biology and the scientific method for students beginning the biology majors' series. Study of the structure and physiological processes of living organisms, with an emphasis on plants and animals.
