Prerequisite: Automotive Technology 94C; approved Automotive Technology Course Sequence Contract. Advisory: English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273; Mathematics 212 or equivalent. Ten hours lecture-laboratory per week. One hundred twenty hours lecturelaboratory per quarter. Precision and performance engine preparation with emphasis on improvements in volumetric efficiency. Includes selection and matching of components for maximum efficiency within mandated emissions requirements.
