Advisory: Automotive Technology 60, 60A, 60B and 60C; English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273; Mathematics 212 or equivalent. Two hours lecture per week. Twenty-four hours lecture per week. An approved course by the Bureau of Automotive Repair (BAR) as an alternative to meet the ASE A8 certification prerequisites for obtaining a smog technician license.
