Prerequisite: Automotive Technology 99D; approved Automotive Technology Course Sequence Contract. Advisory: English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273; Mathematics 212 or equivalent. Twelve and one-half hours lecture-laboratory per week. One hundred fifty hours lecture-laboratory per quarter. (May be taken three times for credit.) Automotive technician training program to include each system which aids in increasing fuel economy and in the reduction of emissions and pollutants from the automobile. Diagnosing and troubleshooting the systems controlling automotive performance and drivability.
