Advisory: English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273. Three hours lecture. Health, safety, and nutritional practices needed for the protection and improvement of the health of preschool children. Includes infant, child, and adult first aid. CPR can be taken in the community through the Red Cross, American Heart Association or at De Anza College (Health 57E). This class meets the state requirements for health, safety, and nutrition.
