Prerequisite: A minimum of 12 units of Child Development course work, which includes Child Development 10G. Advisory: English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273. Three hours lecture, three hours laboratory. A study of the methods and principles of leadership as they apply to administration of programs in Early Childhood settings. Emphasis is on personnel management, leadership styles and skills, interpersonal communication and an awareness of the sociopolitical context of early childhood programs.
