Prerequisite: English as a Second Language 251; or a qualifying score on the English as a Second Language placement test. Three hours lecture. American culture, language, common idioms and slang through viewing and listening to movies and television shows. Development of aural comprehension and oral communication skills in a lecture format to provide opportunities for interaction and discussion in a large classroom setting.
