Prerequisite: English as a Second Language 244. Corequisite: English as a Second Language 225 students must also enroll in English as a Second Language 253. One hour lecture-laboratory. Pass-No Pass (P-NP) course. Development of basic writing skills utilizing the forms and conventions of standard written English through practice in writing and editing connected narratives, descriptions, and explanations.
