Advisory: English Writing 211 and Reading 211 (or Language Arts 211), or English as a Second Language 272 and 273. One hour lecture. Learn about saving the planet through environmental careers, including ecosystem management, restoration ecology, corridors ecology, energy management technology, environmental stewardship, environmental education, watershed management, environmental law, pollution prevention and more. Opportunities for internships and employment in business, industry, public agencies, academia and nonprofit agencies will be explored. Students will prepare an academic plan for their two- or four-year degree, certificate or workplace.
