(Formerly Health Technology 64H.) Prerequisite: Health Technology 64A. Corequisite: Health Technology 64B students must also enroll in Health Technology 101A. Three hours lecture-laboratory, one additional hour to be arranged in the Allied Health or Science Center Resource Center. Introduction to hematology and blood chemistry techniques: blood collection, hematocrit, white blood cell count and differential; preparation of blood smears, preservation, storage and mailing of blood samples.
