Four hours lecture, one additional hour to be arranged. Introduction to the discipline of Peace Studies on all levels: personal, familial, community, national and global. Analysis of the methods of resolving conflicts as they apply to local issues as well as to issues farther from home. Consideration of the organizations involved in peace work from local networks to international institutions such as the United Nations. Experiential learning through community involvement.
