Prerequisite: Qualifying score on the English placement test or successful completion of English Writing 200 and 201; and Reading 200 and 202. Corequisite: Language Arts 212 students must also enroll in English Writing 211 and/or Reading 211, or Language Arts 211. Two hours lecture-laboratory. Pass-No Pass (P-NP) course. Development and integration of reading and writing skills necessary for college level reading and essay writing. Includes critical thinking, inferential reading comprehension, and analytical response essay writing.
