Advisory: English Writing 200 and Reading 200 (or Language Arts 200), or English as a Second Language 261, 262 and 263. Three hours lecture-laboratory, three hours laboratory. (May be taken six times for credit as long as the topics/projects are different each time.) Beginning performance methods and techniques on brass, woodwind, and percussion instruments. Fundamentals of embouchure, fingerings, articulation, rhythm, intonation, and reading musical notation.
