Prerequisite: Demonstrated proficiency in the language competency for Persian 3 or equivalent Five hours lecture, one additional hour to be arranged. Reading and discussion of texts dealing with the literature, arts, geography, history and culture of the Persian-speaking world. Review of the linguistic functions and grammar structures of introductory Persian. Development of reading, writing, speaking and listening skills at the first intermediate level.
