Advisory: English Writing 200 and Reading 200 (or Language Arts 200), or English as a Second Language 261, 262 and 263. (Also listed as Dance 23L. Student may enroll in either department, but not both, for credit.) Two hours lecture-laboratory. (Any combination of Physical Education/Dance 23L and 23M may be taken up to six times for the family of courses.) Introduction to the art of hip-hop dance. Exposure to great works and artists of the field. Development of a working hip-hop dance vocabulary. Theory and practice of basic technique.
