This course will provide the student with an introduction to local area networks (LANs). Students will explore various networking topologies and demonstrate an understanding of LAN design, media (wire/wireless), protocols, standards, network devices, software and hardware configuration and network operating systems. Prerequisite: CIS 150. Lab Fee: $30. Offered evenings every fall semester.
