Description:
This course provides a broad technical description of computer hardware and system software. It is designed to provide a broad, integrated foundation of technical knowledge for systems design, system implementation, hardware and software procurement, and computing resource management by information systems personnel. Students will learn to solve technical problems alone and in other cases gain a sufficient knowledge to effectively communicate with technical specialists. Prerequisite: CIS 150. Lab Fee: $30. Offered evenings every spring semester and summer session.
