Descriptions for level 3, or equivalent of level 3. Five hours lecture, one-hour laboratory. Reading and discussions of texts focusing on the literature, arts, geography, history, and culture of the Urdu-speaking world. Review of the linguistic functions and grammar structures of introductory Urdu. Development of reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills at the first intermediate level.
