Designed to give students the practical knowledge and skills that will allow them to care for both themselves and others in the event of sudden illness or injury. Concepts of safety education and legal liability are examined in detail. Successful completion of the course can lead to certification in first aid (American National Red Cross) and basic life supportCPR (American Heart Association). Lab Fee: $25. Offered every semester.
