Prerequisites: CRJ 101, CRJ 104, and CRJ 105 with a minimum grade of "C" This course examines the critical issues involved in the duties and responsibilities of today's law enforcement agent. Emphasis will be on tactics, techniques, and skills associated with the dangers officer face daily in their careers. Topics include: life-saving, hazardous duty, public safety and self-protection, domestic violence, traffic enforcement, managing hostage situations, hazardous materials, search techniques, mechanics of arrests, levels of force, and stress management.
