Prerequisite: Completion of all required course work for the Computer Information Systems Networking Specialist Option and Advisor Approval May substitute: (CIS 286) and ( CIS 1115 or CIS 2291 or CIS 1114) The student will be required to work as a networking specialist with a participating company as approved by the advisor. The purpose is for the student to gain experience as an entry-level LAN/WAN technician through the maintenance, installation, and design of an organization's network infrastructure. Orientation will be held in the classroom prior to the required contact hours with the participating company.
