Prerequisites: Program admission (degree) English and Math Provides a description and analysis of macroeconomic operations in our contemporary society. Emphasis is placed on developing an understanding of macroeconomic concepts and policies. Topics include: basic economic principles, function of the Federal Reserve Bank, demand and supply, the nature of equilibrium, price theory, production possibilities curve, fundamentals of competitive advantage in free markets, major market types such as oligopoly and monopoly, marginal concepts, macroeconomic goals, the economic model, employment and unemployment, fiscal and monetary policy, multipliers, e-commerce, networking environments and new technology innovation.
