Prerequisites: AHS 1011, AHS 109, MAT 1012 with a minimum grade of "C" in each course Corequisites: MAS 108, MAS 110 Introduces drug therapy with emphasis on safety, classification of drugs, their actions, side effects, and/or adverse reactions. Also introduces the basic concept of mathematics used in the administration of drugs. Topics include: introduction to pharmacology, calculation of dosages, sources and forms of drugs, drug classification, and drug effects on the body systems.
