This non-required course provides paralegal students with an opportunity to gain work experience in a law office or other related legal work environment. Course requirements include a minimum of 120 hours during the semester in a supervised setting requiring the completion of a variety of activities assigned to a paralegal. The course also requires participation in regularly scheduled seminars with the instructor and the completion of regular internship reports. Note: Students must register for both a lecture and a lab. 1 Lecture, 8 Lab, 3 Credit Hours. Prerequisites: Matriculation in the Paralegal AAS Degree program, PAL 100, PAL 110, PAL 120, 9 credit hours of other PAL courses, and permission of department.
