Topics include: Orientation to the Curriculum, College Survival Skills, Roles and Responsibilities of the Paramedic, Medical/Legal issues, The Well Being of the Paramedic, Illness and Injury Prevention, Ethics, and Therapeutic Communications. The laboratory section allows for hands-on supervised practice of the topics covered.
