This course covers the specific pathophysiology, assessment and management of the respiratory and cardiac systems. Psychomotor skills included are cardiac monitoring, defibrillation, cardioversion, transthoracic pacing, cardiac emergency management and cardiac arrest management. Note: Students must register for both a lecture and a lab. 3 Lecture, 2 Lab, 4 Credit Hours. Prerequisite: PAR 106 and PAR102 with a grade of C or better.
