Prerequisite: Photo 30. Advanced concepts and techniques in electronic photo imaging. Introduction to layers/channels methods for more powerful use of Adobe Photoshop. Projects include composite images utilizing layers, objects, blending, vignette and quick masks. Emphasis on creative use of mezzotints, neon and filter effects; custom paint brushes and vector/raster image combinations. Recommended enrollment in Art 110D. Total of 36 hours lecture and 72 hours laboratory.
