Prerequisite: CIS 139. Install, configure, and support Microsoft SQL Server and database including, managing storage, setting up user accounts, assigning permissions, securing SQL Server, backing up and restoring databases, performing other administrative tasks, transferring data in and out of SQL Server databases, diagnosing system problems, and ensuring high-availability. Total of 54 hours lecture and 36 hours laboratory.
