Prerequisites: Completion of Zoo Animal Technology A.S.Degree Program, completion of PAZ 2351 with a grade of "C"or better.This course will provide practicalexperience in the captive husbandry and management of a variety of reptiles including venomous snakes. Students will spend 83 hours observing and participating in the operation of reptile management at a facility specializing in herpetology such as the Kentucky Reptile Zoo.The focus is on advanced aspects of reptile husbandry,management, field collection, exhibit construction, and educational programming for students who have successfully completed the introductory prerequisite course.
