TBA - A.A.S. only. Lab fee. An in-depth study of fabrication methods in wood, plastics and foam using computer-assisted machining. Students will learn to use woodworking equipment and fabrication processes.The course emphasis is to teach students CNC programming operations and set-up procedures using computer numerical controlled (CNC) router. Specific programming topics include the machine coordinate system, linear and circular interpolation and use of "G" and "M" codes. Students will haveworking knowledge of woodworking equipment and procedures used in the industry.
