This course in Structureof American Sign Language (ASL) is designed to explore the basic constructs of linguistics as they pertain to ASL.These basic concepts will be contrasted with corresponding constructs in English.Comparison and contrast between the two languages will include five levels of complexity:phonological,morphological, lexical, syntactic, and discourse.
