An introduction to the operation and management of automotive parts departments and automotive service departments that covers both the technical and business aspects of these departments.The course includes layout of parts and service facilities, and computer simulation of the operation of a parts department.The course also introduces the student to the concept of parts and service operations as small businesses, and addresses some of the financial and legal requirements associated with formation of small businesses.
