The course will discuss different types of GIS's and their capabilities; GIS data collection and input; GIS data types and basic mapping concepts. The course includes a hands-on introduction to ArcGIS software. Lab fee required. 45 class hours. Prerequisite(s): CGS 1000 and CGS 1100.
