This course is designed to cover the basic factors involved in resolving various types of firerelated emergencies.Emphasis will be placed on adequate "size up" procedures by the companyofficer and appropriate resource requests. It will further emphasize the nature of an emergency situation, and different methods inwhich the FireOfficermay evaluate the effectiveness of his/her proposed plan of protection, thereby providing an atmosphere to handle and adapt to any required changes in the tactical approach. 45 class hours
