Topics include states of matter, solutions, redox reactions, kinetics, chemical equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, solubility, thermodynamics, electrochemistry and selected topics in organic chemistry. Lab fee required. 30 laboratory hours. Prerequisite: CHM2045 and CHM 2045L (completed with grades of "C" or higher). Corequisite: CHM 2046.
