Review of the basic skills presented in the beginning class: the overhead and underhand clears, the drop, the smash, and short and long serves. Introducing the flick serve, drive serve, the backhand serve, cross court net drops, half smash, the forehand and backhand drives and the round head smash and drop. Emphasis will be placed on conditioning and skill development. Total of 54 hours laboratory. Transfer Credit: CSU; UC credit limitations. See counselor.
