1 semester, 3 credits ( Fine Arts Core) Introduces students to the art of theatrical design, including scenery, costumes, and lighting. Includes the processes of theatrical design, script analysis, research techniques, conceptualization of a design metaphor, production meetings, rendering techniques, and preliminary construction choices. Students attend and analyze productions both on and off campus for design quality.
