Description:
This course introduces the student to the Linux platform and how to perform tasks commonly used by IT professionals in supporting a Linux environment. Students will learn real-world job tasks including managing hardware and software components, managing networks, managing users and file systems, setting up new systems, system and user security measures, and general proficiency with the Linux command line. Also, Linux as a platform for troubleshooting and Linux tools will also be covered. This course will prepare students to pass the CompTIA Linux+ exam. Students will take the TestOut Linux Pro certification exam.
