Description:
Courses in this module are designed to study the complex relationships between the police and the public they serve. It will also identify the proper handling of prisoners and controlling difficult subjects. Finally it will identify the purpose, method, and various types of law enforcement patrol. Emphasis will be placed on deployment, report writing, traffic and patrol procedures. Students will comply with all student performance objectives as required by the Ohio Peace Officers Training Commission curriculum. This course is equivalent to CJS 108 and CJS 120. Portions of other CJS courses are included.
