In this course the student will study the maintenance of women's reproductive health as well as disorders of the reproductive system. Contemporary issues related to contraception, sexually transmitted diseases, infertility, abortion, and violence will be covered. The student will also focus on applying the nursing process with the high risk client/family during the puerperium. Prerequisite:NUR 240 Corequisite: NUR 260.
